Giant Sunflower Winner

Congratulations to my sweet farmer Hannah!

With a lot of watering and love, one sunflower grew and grew and grew and became a GIANT! 

Each year in our community of Metchosin B.C., there is an agricultural fair called "Metchosin Days". 

It is filled with farmers selling their fresh, local, organic produce, crafts made by 

Metchosin-ites, an organic popcorn cart 😜 with toppings like coconut oil and nutritional yeast, hay rides and a beer garden! Its something we look forward to every year...

Inside the municipal halls, they hold a competition for items such as, best fruit, prettiest veggies, longest bean, most beautiful cakes, best pies, most unique tomato and of course 

THE BIGGEST SUNFLOWER!
